“NCIS” is an American action-drama series focusing on a fictional team of agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Led by Special Agent Jethro Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon), the group investigates crimes involving the US Marine Corps and Navy.

Gibbs has formed an exemplary arm of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Originally, that included Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander), Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito), Eleanor Bishop (Emily Wickersham), and Nicholas Torres (Wilmer Valderrama).

The popular CBS series was hounded with cancellation rumors due to its alleged plummeting ratings, but the management announced on February 29, 2016, that “NCIS” was renewed for seasons 14 and 15.

How can we forget about Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David’s “cat and mouse” relationship? Their romance developed slowly throughout Seasons 3 to 5. The duo even dealt a handful of predicaments such as Ziva’s trust issues and Tony’s phobias on being committed to someone.

Unluckily, the “TiVa” love team did not last after Ziva got killed by a mortar attack after she was held captive for two seasons. Tony, for his part, decided to leave the team after learning that he and his deceased sweetheart have a daughter named Tali.

Aside from Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David, other characters who left the show include special agents Chris Pacci, Kate Todd, Paula Cassidy, Jenny Shepard, Brent Langer, Michelle Lee, Lara Marcy Mike Frank, Eli David, Jacki Vance and Alex Quinn.

In “NCIS” Season 15, Leroy Jethro Gibbs is expected to have a new love interest in the person of Reagan (Maria Bello) while Tim McGee is also set to welcome his new baby with wife Delilah (Margo Harshman).
