"The Bachelorette" started with Trista Sutter looking to find love. From the very first season, this show has been a success. Trista found love with Ryan and they now live happily in Colorado and have two children together. This show took all of the rules of "The Bachelor" and simply changed the leading role to a woman.
On "The Bachelorette," they normally bring in one woman and then twenty-five men try to win her heart. On Season 11, they brought in Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson and let the guys pick who they wanted to be "The Bachelorette" and Kaitlyn Bristowe got the job, choosing Shawn Booth in the end.
So far, three marriages have come out of "The Bachelorette." Trista Rehn married Ryan Sutter, Desiree Hartsock got married to Chris Siegfried and then Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum are now married. All three of this couples have children now as well.
There are several other shows in this franchise as well including "The Bachelor," "Bachelor in Paradise," and just added a new show called "Bachelor Winter Games," that sounds like it will be similar to the old show "Bachelor Pad."
On the most recent season of the show, Rachel Lindsay was cast as "The Bachelorette." She was the first African-American to ever be put in the spot as the lead. In the end, Rachel picked Bryan Abasolo. He proposed to her, but the two are still in the early stages and not planning a wedding yet. They are still doing great.
The last couple of seasons did end with a proposal, but these couples haven't got married yet. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are still going strong, but don't seem in a rush to get married. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are the same way. Only time will tell if these couples will ever tie the knot.
The fans of "The Bachelorette" love seeing who they will cast each season in the lead. It is normally someone who was on "The Bachelor" the season before but producers love to switch things up so you never know who will end up cast as the leading role next.
