A new season of "The Bachelorette" premiered on ABC on Monday, May 28, 2018. Fans of the show were happy to see Rebecca "Becca" Kufrin in the position to pass out red roses and ultimately choose the man she wants to be her husband. The 28-year-old Minnesota publicist has been appearing on talk shows and has admitted that she chose one of the 28 suitors and is now happily engaged. She was a contestant on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of "The Bachelor." He proposed to her and then chose the runner-up, Lauren Burnham.

Most of the suitors tried to make a good first impression during the premiere episode.

This happens every season, but this season had more unique first impressions than usual

1. Chris arrived in a hearse

Sales trainer Chris Randone arrived in a hearse. He also brought along with him a 12-person church choir that sang to Becca.

2. Blake rode in on an ox

Sales rep Blake Horstmann is one of the five men who met Becca moments after she was named the next bachelorette. He brought a horse to the live show. He told her that after falling down, she needed to get back on the horse, and he put her on the horse. During the premiere, he rode in on an ox to show her that his feelings are as strong as the animal he rode in on.

3. David showed up in a chicken outfit

Venture capitalist David Ravitz showed up in a chicken suit.

He repeatedly said, “p-KAWWWW” until he turned it into “b-CAAAAA” and ended up saying, “Becca!” The other men didn't think David would get a rose, but he did receive one during the rose ceremony. Becca didn't know where to put it, and it fell to the floor.

5. Garrett drove his own minivan

Most men arrived in a limousine, but medical sales representative Garrett Yrigoyen showed up with a minivan with car seats and sports gear for their kids.

The 29-year-old medical sales representative from Reno, Nevada also taught Becca to fly-fish in the mansion pool. Garrett got the first impression rose.

6. Jordan wore a gray suit and tapping shoes

Jordan Kimball, a male model, figured most men would wear dark suits. Because he wanted to stand out, he wore a gray suit. The man who followed him also wore a gray suit.

Jordan wore tapping shoes so Becca could recognize him by his footsteps.

7. Kamil asked Becca to meet him halfway

Kamil Nicalek, a 30-year-old social media participant, asked Becca to meet him halfway because all relationships should meet in the middle. Then he messed up by requesting that Becca walk further because it really should be 60-40. That did not go over well with Becca. Kamil was eliminated.

8. Mike showed up with a cardboard cutout

Michael "Mike" Renner told Becca he wanted Arie to see how well she was living. Therefore, he brought along a life-sized picture of the former bachelor.

9. Nick came dressed as Arie

Nick Spetsas mocked Arie by wearing a race car driver’s jumpsuit. He ripped it off to reveal how different he is from the Indy 500 driver who once broke Becca's heart.

10. Christon dunked the bachelorette

Former Harlem Globetrotter Christon “Chris” Staples is a professional dunker. During the cocktail hour, he took Becca to the basketball court and made a basket while jumping over her.

11. Clay made figurines out of clay

Clay Harbor invited The Bachelorette to play with clay. He made a figurine of her image out of modeling clay. Becca went along with the childhood activity, but she did not seem impressed.

12. Connor proposed to the bachelorette

Fitness coach Connor Obrochta brought a ring, got down on his knees, and proposed to the bachelorette. He received a rose.
