Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy recently met during the first season of "The Bachelor: Winter Games." These two fell for each other and really seemed to connect. After the show, Dean got down on one knee and offered her a key to his house. If you follow them on Instagram, the two were constantly going on trips together. Recently, the news came out that they are over and rachel lindsay is surprised. Dean was on Rachel's season of "The Bachelorette."

Rachel Lindsay speaks out about the split

Rachel Lindsay actually thought that Dean had finally found his match.

"The Bachelorette" star appeared on Ben Higgins’ and Ashley Iaconetti’s "Almost Famous" podcast on Monday and talked about how surprised she was that they called it quits.

At first, Lindsay mentioned that now Dean and Lesley had split. Rachel didn't hold back and said, "I thought that they seemed to have a lot of the same interests — like personalities that meshed really well together — and I thought that they were gonna work out.”

The reality star went on to say that she didn't expect Dean and Lesley to get married anytime soon, but she did think that they would last. She thought they would be "boyfriend and girlfriend" for a while. It really "shocked" her to hear that they are over.

"The Bachelor: Winter Games" cast updates

As of right now, Courtney and Lily are the only couple still together from the show. Ashley I and Kevin Wendt split not long after the show aired. Then, it was confirmed that Clare and Benoit had called off their engagement. Right after that split was when it was revealed that Dean and Lesley were over.

Dean and Lesley were together for about four months before calling it quits. They have both posted on their Instagram about the split, without actually using the other person's name. Lesley's recent post said, "Out with the old, in with the TRUE." She made it pretty clear that things may not have ended in the best way for them.

Dean Unglert also had a rough time on the last season of "Bachelor in Paradise" when he ended up in a love triangle. Maybe reality television just isn't the way that he should find love. After three tries, it may be best for him to go back to dating without the cameras around.
