Country Music
This Blasting News channel will keep you informed on the latest news, events, and happenings in the world of country music.
There is just something about the country music community that exhibits a close-knit family and a warm down-home feeling of love and respect. There is nothing like it. Country music seems to stand on its own. It has been referred to as Southern music, Western music, and even hillbilly music, but it is all just plain old good fun.
While country music originated back in the 1920's, it is still a huge part of people's lives today. Many may remember their parents listening to this type of music as they were growing up. Who remembers hearing Dolly Parton pleading with "Jolene" not to take her man, or Johnny Cash singing about falling into a burning "Ring of Fire?" These country music icons paved the way for the up and coming artists who came after them.
These days, the sounds of Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Florida Georgia Line, among other amazing country artists, continue the tradition of bringing the best of this unique music genre. Country music may have changed somewhat, but the message is still the same. It is story telling at its very best. This Blasting News channel will be bringing the latest news from your favorite country musicians, including new music, tours, and anything else that comes along.
1.A community affected by recent tragedy
Just recently, the country music community came together after a tragedy happened at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas during a performance by Jason Aldean. The terrible shooting rampage left heartbreak behind and the whole country music community has rallied together to support each other, and the fans and their families who were involved.
A heartbroken Jason Aldean sent out this heartfelt message that sums it all up. "At the end of the day we aren't Democrats or Republicans, Whites or Blacks, Men or Women. We are all humans and we are all Americans and it's time to start acting like it and stand together as ONE!"
Maren Morris also just released a song called "Dear Hate" after what happened in Las Vegas. You can buy it on iTunes with the proceeds going to the Music City Cares Fund to help the victims and their families who were affected by the shooting.
2.Country music is a way of life
Luke Bryan himself explained that country music is a way of life, full of ethics, hardworking people, and something that is really true and honest. Other country artists have mentioned that you can take anything that has happened in your life and turn it into a country song. Truth and realness in their songwriting comes through, and that is why people are drawn to it.
