Maci Bookout didn't hold back when it came to discussing Ryan Edwards' alleged drug addiction during the recent filming of the reunion special for "Teen Mom OG" season 6B in New York City. According to a new report, Edwards' rumored drug use was a hot topic during filming and when the issue was brought up, his ex-girlfriend became emotional about the situation.
"[Maci Bookout] was very emotional about it," an insider told Radar Online on June 5. "She had strong feelings. She wants the best for [Ryan Edwards]." As the source explained, Bookout cares for her former boyfriend, who is also the father of her eight-year-old son, Bentley, and wants him to be happy and healthy.

When Bookout and Edwards first started their reality television careers, they were featured on one of the first episodes of "16 & Pregnant" as they welcomed their son Bentley. Then, in the months that followed, the couple's relationship became strained and as they filmed "Teen Mom," they decided to end their relationship.
Since their breakup years ago, both Bookout and Edwards have moved on and gotten married. As fans will recall, Bookout married Taylor McKinney in October of last year and Edwards married Mackenzie Standifer last month. Bookout has also welcomed two more children, daughter Jayde Carter and son Maverick Reed.

Throughout the months of rumors Edwards has faced, he has stayed completely silent on social media in regard to his alleged struggles and also kept fans out of the loop on social media. Meanwhile, Bookout has admitted to fearing for the father of her son's life.
Also during the show, Edwards' mom and dad, Jen and Larry Edwards, were seemingly addressed by Bookout, who claimed those around her ex-boyfriend weren't accepting of his situation. On social media, those involved have stayed silent about Bookout's comments, aside from Edwards' wife, Mackenzie Standifer, who took to Twitter to tell fans not to assume anything.
Standifer also shared a tweet with her fans and followers in which she requested they pray for her instead of jumping to conclusions about what is going on off-camera.
