Supreme Leader Snoke has been one of the most heavily speculated characters in "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi." Numerous theories have been surfacing about his true identity. However, his identity, until now, remains shrouded in mystery that has long baffled the fans. Since the team behind the movie is not giving out any detail about the character, fans resort to speculations and leaks to find out more about the character. Recently, another leak surfaced, which according to some, could reveal Snoke's true identity.

Latest Leak

The recent claim about "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" came from the popular Star Wars theorist Mike Zero.

According to him, his source from Pine Studios shared about a leak and its relevance to the movie. The leak reportedly reveals more information about the Supreme Leader's identity. Aside from Snoke, the identity of The Man in Black, portrayed by Benicio del Toro, is also linked to the latest leak.

Mike Zero explained on his YouTube video that Snoke's ring will have a massive influence on the plot of the eighth installment of the franchise. He explained that the ring, currently possessed by the Supreme Leader once belonged to someone very ancient. The theorist continued with his analysis and described that the ring has a black gem, which could be a black kyber crystal. Zero also speculated about the identity of the previous owner of the ring.

The ring and its revelations

Aside from that, Zero also observed that the ring worn by Snoke in his right hand is the same ring also seen on the right hand of the Man in Black as shown in the previous teaser. He went on and speculated that perhaps the Supreme Leader and the Man in Black belong to the same team and wears the ring as their membership's identity.

Who then is the previous owner of the ring? How did it reach the hands of its current owner?

It can be recalled that Benicio Del Toro's character was previously speculated to be the younger version of the mysterious Supreme Leader in the upcoming movie. However, for now, this theory does not make sense since The Man in Black was shown interacting with Rose and Finn, which are characters of the present setting.

Perhaps, the speculation about Snoke and The Man in Black's membership to a particular group weighs heavier as compared to other theories. Fans must expect more theories and speculations about "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" as it nears its release date. The movie is set to be released in cinemas in December 2017.
