Sanders spoke during the press briefing

“We want to make sure she gets that and far exceeds it,” –it being the number of prayers requested.

Sarah Huckabee-Sanders went on to say “Sophia, I’m here to tell you that millions of people from every corner of the world will be praying for you on January 26.”

She gave Sophia the assurance the president was praying for her as well as the white house and hopefully the nation. The nation was captivated by her story and prayers poured in.

She came through the surgery without complication. The girl’s recovery after the surgery has been above and beyond what was expected.

On her Twitter page, her family wrote that she is doing great. She was sent home from the ICU and even able to travel to Washington, to attend the prayer breakfast, where she reportedly waved to the president.
