“Ricky and Morty" Season 4 date has not been confirmed but the writers of the series are working fast to bring the hugely popular series back into the reckoning. Co-Creator Dan Harmon from Emmy magazine had revealed that Adult Swim had ordered 70 upcoming episodes but no date for the telecast has been given.

Season 5 on Netflix

There is news that “Ricky and Morty” will be featured on Netflix the day after it will be premiered on Adult Swim in the US. There have been unconfirmed reports about a possible release of Season 5 on Netflix, but for now, we will remain focused on Season 4.

Netflix has not denied that it will not show Season 5 and with 70 episodes of Season 4 on the anvil, it is natural to expect Season 5 also. Netflix UK users are lucky this time because they will be able to watch the episodes of "Rick and Morty" around the same time when they are being shown in the US by Adult Swim.

Seven series of 'Rick and Morty'

Dan Harmon has been a bit more forthcoming with what the audience can expect. It is not an easy task to make people laugh endlessly for 70 episodes, and Dan has dropped enough hints that Season 4 will have new storylines and has asked fans to remain prepared for the unexpected.

Dan added to Emmy Magazine that the audience could expect punch lines, jokes, ideas, conversation, stories and a lot more. The earlier series had on an average ten episodes, and if seventy episodes have been approved, it means we are having another seven sequences of "Rick and Morty".

One thing is pretty sure, both Dan and co-creator Roiland take their own time to write episodes, and it is wishful thinking that we will see the Season 4 start by the end of 2019.

Director Ryan Ridley did not clearly mention the date of release in a recent interview, he said, “I know how long this show takes to write, let alone animate,” he said.

“I’d be surprised if there was a fourth season on the air anytime sooner than 2019… late 2019.”

The serial was first aired in 2013 and follows a maverick and alcoholic Rick and his grandson Morty who venture into adventures across the vast expanse of the universe.

Unfortunately, the "Rick and Morty" show is not available on Netflix in the United States, but if you live in the United Kingdom, you can stream the show.
