Spoiler alerts for "The Young and the Restless" indicate that Sharon is going to have to make a major decision this week, that proves where her heart really is. Nick just found out that Victor is suing him for sole custody of Christian because the boy's biological parents are deceased. Sharon pointed out that for her former father-in-law to take such drastic measures, he must have some serious leverage. She realizes that if her relationship with Nicholas continues, that her sordid past will come up in court. Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that Ms.
Newman will decide to cut her sweetie loose so that she will not be the reason Christian is given to Victor.
Sharon proves she is not selfish
Nikki, Phyllis, and practically everyone else in Genoa City believes that Sharon is selfish, and with good reason. When she found out she was never pregnant and that Sully was really Christian, she hid the truth and decided to raise the child with Dillon. When the entire truth was revealed, she colluded with Phyllis to never let Nick know that Adam was the boy's biological father. Because of these situations, Sharon realizes that Victor would have the law on his side, as Christian's paternal grandfather.
Soaps She Knows teases that things are going to become pretty interesting on "The Young and the Restless" during the next few weeks.
If Sharon makes this selfless move, it will no doubt surprise viewers as well as Genoa City residents. Victor has hit a new low in trying to take away the child Nick has been raising as his own for two years. He believes he has the upper hand and will always come out on top. Spoilers don't say how the custody battle turns out, but if Sharon removes herself from the equation, then Nick's chances are much better.
Nick and Sharon will remain in Genoa City
Nick was contemplating taking a job in California and leaving Genoa City behind but two events came out of nowhere to challenge him. Summer returned home and his father got an injunction that bars Nicholas from leaving town. He and Sharon have grown really close in recent months and she has been working hard to prove she can be trusted.
If she does break things off with Victor's son and this helps him win custody of Christian, Sharon will endear herself to the man she loves, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
The sentiment, however, will not last very long because eventually, the big secret Sharon is keeping will have to come to light. When Victor finds out that Nikki killed J.T. in order to protect Victoria and that Sharon and Phyllis helped cover it up, he will use the information to his advantage and the games will begin anew. "The Young and the Restless" screens weekday afternoons on CBS at 12:30 PM EST.
