jax taylor may be getting fired from SUR Restaurant before the end of "Vanderpump Rules" season six. During a sneak peek at next week's season finale, lisa vanderpump is seen in a tense conversation with Taylor before informing him that he should do the right thing and turn in his resignation after years of acting as a bartender at her West Hollywood restaurant.

"I hope Jax Taylor doesn't show up tonight," Vanderpump tells husband Ken Todd as she prepares for her evening at her home in Beverly Hills. "And if he's been fired from his relationship maybe he should be fired from his job, too."

"What are you going to do, suspend him then?" Todd asks.

In response, Vanderpump hints at something more permanent. "Maybe Jax Taylor's days at SUR are over."

Later on during the "Vanderpump Rules" episode, Vanderpump and Taylor come face-to-face and Vanderpump asks him, "Why don't you do the decent thing?" In turn, Taylor asks, "What would you like to see me do?" At that point, Lisa Vanderpump makes her thoughts clear. "Why don't you hand me your f****** resignation and do what you should have done a long time ago?" she fires.

Jax Taylor and Lisa Vanderpump have been at odds for the past several weeks on the show due to Taylor's seemingly careless demeanor about his employment.

As fans will recall, Taylor arrived to a special event honoring Vanderpump and her work with Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine extremely late and was ultimately sent home. From there, he spoke negatively about SUR Restaurant and even joked that he wouldn't care at all if the place burned down.

Jax Taylor dumped Brittany Cartwright during last week's show

After previously admitting to cheating and convincing his girlfriend he would try harder to be a good man and make things work, Taylor decided to end his relationship with Cartwright and move out of their Los Angeles home. Cartwright then pursued a relationship with Adam Spott, who also works at SUR Restaurant before ultimately getting back together with her boyfriend around the time production on season six came to a close.
