"Teen Mom OG" star Farrah Abraham is not going to take being fired lightly. According to The Blast, Farrah is suing Viacom for $5 million over the loss of her job in the "Teen Mom" franchise. In the documents, it says she was "wrongfully terminated her employment because she did not conform to gender stereotypes."
Details about Farrah's lawsuit
According to Farrah back in October of 2017, executive producer Morgan J. Freeman came to her home in Texas to confront her. Morgan is the producer for "16 & Pregnant" and for "Teen Mom." She said that he “harassed, humiliated, discriminated against, disrespected, ridiculed, degraded and sex shamed” her because of her “recent decision to pursue opportunities in the adult entertainment industry.” Farrah has done porn but has never hidden that from the producers or her fans.
Farrah Abraham says that Morgan went as far as to threaten to end her career with MTV. Since then, Farrah has been fired and won't be returning to "Teen Mom OG." The current season that is airing happened before this all went down.
It sounds like things got pretty heated between Farrah and Morgan. She said that during the confrontation "she feared for her life." According to Abraham, it wasn't long after this that she was told she would no longer be a part of the "Teen Mom" franchise. She’s suing for emotional pain, emotional suffering, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life and other damages. Farrah also says that they still owe her money from her contract that wasn't paid up and she wants it as part of this lawsuit.
The reality star is even going as far as to say that they harassed her based on “gender stereotypes of how women should act and appear, unreasonably interfered” and that it messed with her work performance.
Farrah's sex tape past
Back in 2013, Farrah Abraham did release a sex tape that was produced by the company Vivid Entertainment.
In the tape, she was performing with James Dean, a known porn star. It didn't stop there, though. Farrah has also endorsed sex toys and has done multiple appearances at strip clubs. She has also made money doing webcam shows. "Teen Mom" kept her around for years after the first sex tape was done.
