In a few days, The Walking Dead” Season 8 is about to start, and the all-out war between Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is about to begin. In an interview, the two major characters talked about what fans are about to see and how the new installment is going to roll this time. It looks like it will be another bloodbath as the two parties will try their best to survive not just the zombie apocalypse but battling their enemies as well.

Blood will be everywhere

“There’s a lot of blood this year,” Jeffrey Dean Morgan told the Daily News.

In fact, the 51-year-old actor revealed that fans would hate Negan more this time. “It’s gross,” he added. He went on to say that he will never forget the new season as it got him a lot of fake blood on him compared to the previous season. In fact, the blood was already stuck on him.

Morgan further said that there are a lot of “nooks and crannies” in one’s body. Thus blood can easily find them. He even said that it doesn’t easily get off. In the return of “The Walking Dead” Season 8, fans can absolutely expect to see a lot of blood in the coming “All Out War” between Negan and Rick.

The reclaiming of Rick and the new season

The previous season of “The Walking Dead” received its lowest average ratings since it started in 2012.

However, the television show created by Robert Kirkman stayed to be the highest-rated entertainment series on television for five years. It seems like fans are still upset with the death of one major character, Glen (Steven Yeun), at the start of the previous season. They, too, seem upset with Rick’s reaction and didn’t even avenge his friend’s death.

In an interview with Andrew Lincoln, he admitted that the post-apocalyptic horror drama’s seventh installment was a “painful season,” not just for fans but for all of them. However, he promised that the old Rick fans used to see will be back and reclaim his old personality. “It’s really cool to be reclaiming Rick who has been so demolished emotionally,” he said about the incoming Season 8.

He said that the new installment is going to be “a payoff” to last year’s chapter. Now, the story will be quicker, and they will be moving faster to cover more narratives compared to what they have done before. From stunts, explosions, and graphic effects, everything will be made to the next level.

Unfortunately, there will be some characters that will never make it into the ninth season. But just like before, the identities of these characters are bound to secrecy.

“The Walking Dead” Season 8 will air on October 22 on AMC. The theme of this chapter will be called “All Out War, ” and this will be all about Rick and Negan’s battle.
