It might still be a long wait before the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," but fans are already wondering what will happen to Kylo Ren in the highly anticipated sequel. Although it is possible that Adam Driver's character will be going after Rey in the film, some fans also believe that Kylo is actually planning to face Luke Skywalker one more time.

People are undoubtedly hoping to see Kylo Ren go up against Daisy Ridley's character in "Star Wars 8." After all, Rey somehow defeated Kylo in a lightsaber battle in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The two are set to meet each other again in the sequel, but there is also a possibility that Kylo is actually out to get to his former mentor in "The Last Jedi."

Kylo Ren faces Luke Skywalker

It's no secret that Luke Skywalker was the one who trained Kylo Ren when the villain was still a child. Han Solo and Leia Organa had entrusted their son to the Jedi for his training. Unfortunately, things did not work out so well.

Kylo started out as a promising student but he was seduced to the Dark Side. Under the influence of Supreme Leader Snoke, the former Ben Solo rebelled against Luke Skywalker and destroyed the Jedi temple. Is it possible that Kylo and Luke will see each other again in "Star Wars 8"?

There are speculations that Kylo Ren will eventually track Luke down in "The Last Jedi." Although Rey will do her best to defend her mentor, there is a possibility that Kylo will manage to overpower her and ultimately face the Jedi Master. Unfortunately, this could mean that the end is near for Mark Hamill's character.

Fans have already been concerned about the title of "Star Wars 8" since it suggests that Luke Skywalker will be the final Jedi in existence.

Will Luke manage to help Rey complete her training before his possible demise? Could Kylo Ren truly defeat his old teacher as a way to finish his own training with Supreme Leader Snoke? More hints could be revealed when the final trailer debuts this month.
