Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their third royal baby together. Although it remains unknown when the Duchess of Cambridge is due, there are already a lot of speculations as to who the godparents of their upcoming bundle of joy will be. According to a royal expert, Middleton and Prince William might not include Prince Harry in their godparent list. Check out why.

Kate and Prince William are not picking up Prince Harry as a godparent for their third baby

In September, the Kensington Palace announced that Middleton and Prince William are expecting royal baby number three.

After a few weeks, many are already looking forward as to who the baby's godparents will be. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie might be among the godparents of Middleton and Prince William's third baby. He added that this might be a shock as the two were not invited to Princess Charlotte's christening. Fitzwilliams also stressed that the list will likely include a number of the couple's friends too.

According to Fitzwilliams, Prince William and Middleton have not followed the royal tradition of making the baby's uncle a godfather. For instance, Prince Harry's godparents include his uncle Prince Andrew. But he was not among the godparents of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children.

Prince George's godparents included Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, The Hon. Julia Samuel, William van Cutsem and Zara Tindall. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte's included Princess Diana's niece Hon. Laura Fellowes, Kate's cousin Adam Middleton, and the couple's friends Thomas van Straubenzee, James Meade and Sophie Carter.

None of the royal family was among Princess Charlotte’s godparents.

Considering Prince George and Princess Charlotte's godparents, Fitzwilliams believes that Middleton and Prince William will opt for their friends as their third baby’s godparents. However, this time, the royal couple might include some royals like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Well, let’s see.

Prince William and Middleton hire a super-nanny

Meanwhile, prior to Middleton's third pregnancy, she and Prince William were very busy with a number of royal engagements after Queen Elizabeth II delegated most of her royal obligations to them. Thus, they don't have enough time to look after their two kids - Prince George and Princess Charlotte. According to reports, the couple hired a super-nanny to help them look after their children and so that they can focus on their royal duties.
