The Duggar ladies enjoyed some time together ahead of Johannah and Mackynzie's birthdays. Over the weekend, Michelle Duggar decided to treat her daughters and granddaughter Mackynzie out to lunch. In the photos shared by the Duggar Family on Facebook, it was clearly exclusive for girls as Jim Bob Duggar and his sons were not around. It looked like everyone was enjoying their time together as they were all smiles in the pictures. The Duggar fans are so happy to see Michelle and her brood together, especially that this time more members are seen in the photo.

Michelle and daughters enjoy girls’ lunch out

Michelle Duggar opted to have a lunch at a restaurant with her daughters and granddaughter to celebrate Johannah and Mackynzie's birthdays. Michelle gave birth to Johannah on October 11, 2005. Meanwhile, Mackynzie is Josh and Anna Duggar's firstborn who is celebrating her Birthday on Sunday, October 8. In the photos, the group shared a salad, bread, and sweet desserts. Some of the kids opted for sodas, but most, especially the grown-ups enjoyed their meal with a glass of water with lemon.

The family’s drinks have received a mixed reaction from the Duggar followers in the comment section of the said post. Some commented that Michelle is being frugal that’s why they opted for lemon water as getting a drink for each may cost an additional $20 on their bill.

Meanwhile, some defended the Duggars and explained that water with lemon is healthier than soda. Also, there’s nothing wrong in drinking water when eating out at a restaurant.

One fan questioned the cleanliness of the lemon while some questioned the sanitation of the soda dispenser. Nevertheless, Michelle and the girls were clearly enjoying their time together.

Just last week, InTouch Weekly reported that some fans were concerned about Michelle's health as she looked thinner. However, the Duggar matriarch looked happy and glowing in her recent photos with her daughters.

The big Duggar family is getting smaller

In the past week, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar stepped out together to watch a football game along with their youngest brood.

Many were saddened to see their family photo as it only shows a few members. The “19 Kids and Counting” clan is getting smaller in number as most of the kids grow up, get married and start their own family.

In May, Joy-Anna Duggar walked down the aisle and married her long-time friend Austin Forsyth. After less than four months, Joseph tied the knot with Kendra Caldwell. Meanwhile, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary in less than a month. A number of the “19 Kids and Counting” members have already left the Duggar household to start their own family. Good thing that Jana remains single to help Jim Bob and Michelle with the remaining kids.
