This new season of "Grey's Anatomy" proves to be more dramatic than you can imagine. With the return of Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer) on the scene, things will get even more complicated for Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). Now we all know that Nathan and Meredith were a thing - maybe not in the most romantic way - and the return of Megan put Meredith in a position that is cringe-worthy.

In the past episodes of "Grey's Anatomy Season 14," Meredith may have encountered several instances where she felt like she's caught in a love triangle.

Remember the time she came into Megan's hospital room only to find out that Nathan was proposing to her? Remember the heart-wrenching look from Nathan when she told Meredith that Megan didn't want to see him. The concern he had for Megan partly made Meredith jealous in the sense that she never saw that from him.

The special bond between doctor and patient

Now, Mer and Megan have created a special bond primarily because she is the latter's surgeon and the fact that they shared the same man in the past. In the latest "Grey's Anatomy Season 14" episode 4 sneak peek, you can see Meredith cleaning Megan's wound and the two shared somewhat light but awkward conversation about Nathan. When Megan asked Mer if she had heard from Nathan, she answered "no" but threw in the same question to her patient.

That's when Megan admitted to Meredith that she told Nathan that she's the real deal and that she sent him to her.

Meredith, on the other hand, said: "..and I sent him to you. Pretty firmly." Megan chuckled saying, "I think we broke his brain." Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" will also feature Amelia Shepherd's (Caterina Scorsone) dealing with pre-surgery.

The latest spoilers reveal that she started shaving her head in preparation for the procedure and Meredith and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) were there to support her.

Greys star-crossed lovers

In the latest episode of "Grey's Anatomy," it looks like Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is heading to a great new season after a new love interest arrives on the scene.

Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) is the girl and she is an OBGYN and she happens to be the sister of Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). Things get even more complicated when Arizona discovers that she will also work for Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Fans may also want to check on Maggie and Jackson Avery's (Jesse Williams) developing a relationship despite being considered as step-siblings.
