According to People, the long wait is over as Nikki Reed gave birth to a bouncing Baby Girl on July 25 at 10:26 in the morning which was confirmed via the official birth certificate. With more than two weeks after the birth of their baby, the fact that the confirmatory news was only released today further implies that the new parents are really serious in making their family life a private matter.
The name of their firstborn is Bodhi Soleil.
She is the first child of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed, who got married in April 2015. Their married life was not all rainbows and butterflies, as there were a lot of issues thrown at them - from third party issues down to divorce speculations. Somerhalder's reunion with ex-girlfriend in the finale of "The Vampire Diaries" was considered to be the triggering factor why all those horrible rumors and issues about their marriage came to be.

In an interview with Fit Pregnancy & Baby, where Reed was the cover girl, she revealed that they have agreed to spend one month of silence after their baby is born.
Given the fact that they are celebrities, it would be a pretty difficult feat to achieve, but they are reportedly determined to spend their baby's first month with just the three of them. To ensure that the one month of silence can be achieved or materialized, Reed also revealed in the interview that they are planning to turn off all forms of communication - cellphones, wifi, social media - so no one should expect them to communicate.
For the new parents, the first 30 days after birth is crucial and precious, and they want to treasure every minute because there's no way they can get it back.
