Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio have come a long way since their "Titanic" days. The two Hollywood A-listers played the iconic and unforgettable roles of Rose and Jack in the box-office hit movie, "Titanic." Although they played the roles of on-screen lovers, DiCaprio and Winslet never became real life lovers. Instead, they became really good friends and fans simply adore seeing them hug and greet each other during award ceremonies, like two old friends who haven't seen each other in a long time. It looks like they are currently making up for lost time as the two were spotted on an intimate vacation in St.

Tropez.

According to Mail Online, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio were spotted hanging out together with close friends in France, proving that their friendship of 20 years is still as strong as ever. However, the photos were taken in July and were only released to the public recently.

Time for some much-needed catching up

According to Mail Online, Kate Winslet went to France to support Leo's gala for an environmental foundation, which he has been an advocate of since 2008. The highlight of the gala was the auction where the attendees placed their bids to win a dinner with DiCaprio and Winslet at the winner's place of choice in New York. After the glitz and glamour of the gala, Winslet and DiCaprio also hung out at the latter's luxurious French estate.

In the obtained photographs, Winslet was seen lounging at the poolside with DiCaprio. The "Titanic" actress was wearing a neon orange bikini while DiCaprio was wearing comfy poolside shorts. The recent photos have sparked speculations that there might be something more than friendship between DiCaprio and Winslet.

However, some fans believe that their friendship is purely platonic and that they treat each other like siblings.

Winslet has three children from a failed marriage, while DiCaprio is known to be a ladies man, with model Nina Agdal as his latest lady love.

Friends turned lovers?

Currently, the "Titanic" lead stars are both technically single. Fans are open to the possibility that the two might end up as a couple, and if ever that happens, it's certainly going to be a delightful surprise for their fans who have been following them since "Titanic."

The two have always been very vocal of how much they love and admire each other. As of writing, reps for Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio have yet to comment on the issue.
