"Counting On" star Derick Dillard is taking on the transgender community with his latest tweet about "I Am Jazz" and his thoughts on being transgender. Some people are going to agree with Derick and others are going to be upset because they love both TLC shows. The shows "Counting On" and "I Am Jazz" both air on TLC.

What did Derick Dillard reveal on Twitter?

This all went down on Wednesday night on Twitter. There was a new episode of "I Am Jazz" on TLC and this is when Derick shared his thoughts and didn't hold back. Derick actually retweeted a tweet that was posted by TLC and when he did this he shared his thoughts in the tweet as well.

Derick said, "What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. 'Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.” This simple tweet upset a lot of people.

After this, Derick decided to try and clarify his thoughts. The fans were going off and he realized that he upset a lot of people. Derick Dillard said, "I want to be clear.I have nothing against him. I only have I have nothing against him. I only have issue with the words and definitions being propagated here.” This just made things worse for him.

Derick upset a lot of people by using the pronoun "him" instead of "her" when talking about Jazz Jennings. Several people felt like this was just pushing more disrespect at Jazz.

Derick hasn't apologized for that at all yet, though. So far, none of the Duggars are speaking out and sharing their thoughts to say if they agree or disagree with what Derick had to say tonight. The fans would love to hear their thoughts as well, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

Who is Jazz Jennings?

The show "I Am Jazz" is all about Jazz Jennings who is transgender.

She has lived as a female her entire life and is now working on trying to get bottom surgery done. Jazz's family totally supports her in her decision. She says that she has known that she was a girl from the second she could understand this kind of thing. She has been on hormones since a very young age. Jazz likes to educate the world about transgender and this show is doing exactly that, but Derick obviously isn't a fan of it.
