We’ll be seeing the next episode of “Alaskan Bush People” Season 7 on Wednesday, August 9. The show's home network, the Discovery Channel’s primetime block is currently occupied by special features and documentaries for its Shark Week presentation.
However, it’s not the time to be sad and fall in deep frustration for not seeing any updates about the Browns. The month of August will be a whole lot of fun for both the family.
And as a fan, you'll be glad to celebrate it with them. First, be reminded that we are not going in the depth of Ami’s current condition but we will touch part of the process where we witnessed how much the couple supports each other.
Ami’s upcoming birthday
Born Amora Lee Branson Brown on August 28, 1963, Ami will be celebrating her 54th birthday in nearly two weeks. What’s in store for that day remains a secret. And with all that’s happened to her in the past months, the “Alaskan Bush People” star must be happy enough to receive her cancer treatment options. What’s the other best thing than a second chance to live?
Moreover, knowing his wife’s condition, Bill may be preparing something grand to celebrate her life as a friend, a wife, and mother to all their loving children. They are currently far from their rural Alaskan Bush homestead, the Browntown. But as long as they have each other, home is never that far away.
Their constant public outing together
Every time we see the “Alaskan Bush People” matriarch out in public, Billy would be seen standing next to her. Proof to this is their recent appearance in California where "ABP" fans had a photo opportunity with them.
They provide strength to each other. Weeks after the news about Ami's cancer broke out, they were spotted on their way to Dolores, Colorado to join their children.
Below are some old photos of Bill and Ami took with “Alaskan Bush People” fans.
Married for 38 years
Similar to how they live up their way of life in the Alaskan wilderness, this “Alaskan Bush People” couple did not mind following age restrictions for marriage. On June 16, 1979, Billy tied the knot with Ami when she was still 15 years old in her native Texan Tarrant County. To be fair, a woman could wed as young as 14 with parental consent in Texas during that time, Radar Online reported.
The groom was 26 then increasing their age gap to 11 years. Amid criticisms from the bride’s family, they went against norms. And now, they are happily married for 28 years with seven wonderful kids of their own.
