We are only hours away until “Rick and Morty” Season 3 debuts its second episode entitled “Rickmancing the Stone.” And before anything else, there are few things you need to know – what time and which channel to watch the said series Episode 2 premiere. Plus, major spoilers!

Remember when Adult Swim made a very surprising move when it dropped the “Rick and Morty” Season 3 pilot episode on April Fool’s Day. Undeniably, the series’ show runners really know how to play along with the fans. Alas, the series has met several delays from its original release.

The pickled truth

According to the show’s Co-Creator Dan Harmon, “Rick and Morty” Episode 2 will take place in a diesel powered environment which is inspired by “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Rick, Morty, and Summer will be journeying in a post-apocalyptic realm in a quest to find a stone.

Meanwhile, the episode’s title is inspired by the 80s classic movie “Romancing The Stone” starring Michale Douglas and Kathleen Turner. It will pick up where Episode 1 left off.

The Smith family will try to move forward with their lives without Jerry. He is moving out of their household. The episode is supposed to highlight what happens with the family in his absence. Incidentally, Rick needs to get a stone. So they will journey to an alternative Earth, the post-apocalyptic realm I’ve mentioned earlier.

Emergency Awesome noted they will travel to that dimension from the other Earth through time travel. However, that another world is inhabited by life-sucking people wearing Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions Movement-inspired wardrobe and acting like Mad Max. That shows something bad happened on that planet in the '90s.

Summer will play a hardcore role in this episode.

She is shown pointing a gun to a suspicious looking character. By the rules of the apocalypse, she will be invited to join the team of a notorious group of scavengers.

Happening in the latter part of the show, Rick and Morty will venture into an experiment to counter Season 3’s version of Immortan Joe. Rick will inject Morty a DNA from the planet’s big gladiator and his arm will grow enormously.

As per our prediction, this will be used to defeat the menacing inhabitants of that failed Earth.

All you need to know about the schedule

But there’s no need to fret anymore because “Rick and Morty” Season 3 Episode 2 is officially showing tonight, Sunday, July 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET. For those who have missed Season 3’s Episode 1, Adult Swim announced that “The Rickshank Redemption” will air right before the second episode airs.
