Matt Murdock and his alter-ego have been on a hiatus since the last episode of "Daredevil" season 2 aired, and the fans are missing the blind vigilante and the gang. According to Comic Book, it won't be long before fans can see Matt Murdock again, and once Marvel's "The Defenders" begins airing in August, the cast and production crew of "Daredevil" season 3 can begin filming. Considering that "Daredevil" series is relatively new, a number of new faces, from heroes to antagonists are expected to be added in season 3. However, there are rumors that a returning character might be the glue that will hold the upcoming season together.

The return of Peter McRobbie

According to MCU, the roster of the actors and actresses for "Daredevil" season 3 was recently updated, and there was one name that seemed to catch the attention of the eagle-eyed fans. Apparently, Peter McRobbie's name is back on the cast list once again, signifying a possible return as Father Lantom.

It can be remembered that Father Lantom played a significant role in Matt Murdock's life in season 1 when he was still trying to fight his inner demons. After his appearance in season 1, Father Lantom has appeared several times in the series but wasn't given major screentime. "Daredevil" season 3 theories suggest that Peter McRobbie's comeback as Father Lantom might signify Matt Murdock's attempt to get in touch once more with his spiritual side.

How about Bullseye?

Meanwhile, there's still a big question mark when Bullseye's character gets linked to "Daredevil" season 3. According to Slash Film, Charlie Cox, who plays the titular character, has expressed his wishes to have Bullseye on board for season 3.

Considering that Charlie Cox plays the main character in the series, he himself knows the impact and implications if Bullseye joins the cast.

Known as one of the most hated villains in Marvel, Bullseye will surely bring more chaos to Matt Murdock's world should the writers include him in the list of villains for "Daredevil" season 3.
