"Teen Mom OG" star Maci Bookout is ready to strike while the iron is hot! The reality television star is reportedly making plans to gain full custody of Bentley.
Is Maci Bookout using Ryan's rehab to get full custody?
Radar Online reports that Maci is not willing to risk her son Bentley's safety any longer. According to the celebrity news site, Maci will do what needs to be done, even if that giving an ultimatum to Ryan. Maci hopes things will not resort to that, but, if Ryan doesn't take getting sober serious she will take legal actions.
Bookout has already made some of the necessary calls to get all in the information and documents she needs to get the ball rolling.
However, Maci is sitting back and giving Edwards time to get his act together once and for all.
Who is the better parent to Bentley?
Throughout their relationship, Maci claims she never confronted Ryan about the subject, no matter how suspicious she was, or how off his behavior. But, now that things have taken a different turn in the past several weeks Maci is seeking out counsel and has been advised to seek legal action now to keep Bentley safe.
As previously reported Maci revealed a few weeks back on the MTV reality series "Teen Mom OG" that she had received disturbing information that Ryan Edwards drug use was a major issue. Since announcing that Ryan's drug use had come into play, Ryan has made some major life changes himself.
First off, he and Mackenzie were secretly married in mid-May. The couple was supposed to be married later this fall.
Since becoming a married man, Ryan just within days of his marriage checked into a drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. Maci just wants Ryan well so he can be a father to their son. However, if Ryan fails at this second rehab attempt it looks as if Maci has her ducks in a row for court battle if needed.
If Bookout goes through with the legalities she may have a serious battle on her hands when it comes to Ryan's parents. The whole ordeal could turn out to be quite messy. It is hard to believe that they would sit back and allow Maci to gain full control, but then again, things are really just starting to come to a boil and who knows just what and how much dirt will come out?

What is the most important thing to remember is that all of this involves Bentley also. His needs, especially his emotionally needs must be considered at all costs. Some fans already believe the young boy is at a great disadvantage having his life publically viewed by millions. Tough call no matter which way you look at it now.
