Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have been numerously rumored to be dating since 2013, but the couple never admitted to their romance while fans have reportedly accepted that the celebrities have been a pair. However, recent rumors stated that the “Horrible Bosses 2” actor is back to the dating scene, suggesting a breakup with Holmes.
To recall, US Magazine cited that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes started getting cozy in Oscars in October 2013. The online magazine even revealed in March 2015, the “Dawson’s Creek” actress and Foxx had been secretly dating for more than two years.
Apparently, they limited their interactions to their own homes. At those times, several sources revealed that Holmes would go far as dressing like a man just to meet up with the actor.Moreover, during the Foxx’s birthday in December 2015, Holmes, together with Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys, surprised the actor on his 48th birthday and snuck out in New York City. The rumored pair was last spotted in public during Barbara Streisand’s concert in New York City in August 2016.
No more romance
While Holmes or Foxx never admitted to their romantic relationship, ABC News reported that the “Horrible Bosses 2” actor is back to the dating scene for quite some time now. In fact, Foxx even revealed how he viewed the dating scene as a single aged man.
He reportedly said that the scene has changed and that he found it difficult to put himself out there.
One of the reasons he cited was about the younger generations, which Foxx said he was confronted with, during his recent club visit. While the Hollywood actor retained his youthful appearance, he admitted that he is feeling his old age, especially regarding meeting single women.
“I was at a club the other night and a group of girls shouted my name,” the 49-year-old “Horrible Bosses 2” actor told Entertainment Tonight. “I was like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ and they said, ‘We go to school with your daughter!’ You have to be so careful.”
The actor also added that even when he’s not running into the friends of her daughter Corrine, younger women are taken aback by his old age.
Foxx at 50
Jamie Foxx is set to celebrate his 50th birthday on December. ABC News reported that the actor said that “he plans to go big for his milestone birthday.” Moreover, he wanted to spend it with the special people, especially his family on an island. "It'll be family, family, family -- 'OK, Y'all get outta here,’” the actor added.
