As previously reported by Blasting News, Amber, Maci, and Catelynn have an open discussion about postpartum depression, which leaves Catelynn Lowell stepping away from the group. Catelynn's husband, Tyler Baltierra, later tells Maci, Taylor, Matt, and Amber that his wife harbors a lot of guilt over placing their oldest daughter, Carly, up for adoption when they were teenagers. Tyler adds that it is hard when you make that choice as a teenager, and eight years later, they have a stable, happy life, as well as another daughter, Nova. Baltierra says it's difficult not to think about what could have been if they had decided to keep Carly in their care, even though they know that placing her up for adoption was the right decision at the time.
