"Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood is finally opening up about the death of her father, and it's heartbreaking. Viewers will watch as the Reality TV mom and her co-stars Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell head off to Puerto Rico for a kid-free vacation, but things take a sad turn when Amber's painful past with her late father becomes a topic of conversation. According to OK! Magazine, Amber, Matt, Catelynn and Tyler all bond over the fact that they had hard working, addict parents. The foursome discuss how hard their parents worked at their jobs, and how their addictions took them away from their families.

During this time, Amber begins to open up about her late father, who was an alcoholic, and suffered with medical issues for years.

Amber has a meltdown on 'TMOG'

"Teen Mom OG" fans will see Amber Portwood let her emotions get the better of her as she walks away from the group and breaks down into tears. Amber tells her producer that her father suffered for many years with his illness and that despite all of the pain he was in, he stayed alive for their family. Amber says that before her dad moved to Florida she took care of him and confessed that he told her he was clinging to life to see her get married before he died, a step that she has yet to take.

It's an emotional vacation for the girls

During the Puerto Rico trip, Amber Portwood, who is in talks to release a sex tape, and her "Teen Mom OG" co-stars along with their significant others, have a ton of fun in the sun.

However, they also have some very painful and honest conversations about the issues in their lives. As previously reported by Blasting News, Amber, Maci, and Catelynn have an open discussion about postpartum depression, which leaves Catelynn Lowell stepping away from the group. Catelynn's husband, Tyler Baltierra, later tells Maci, Taylor, Matt, and Amber that his wife harbors a lot of guilt over placing their oldest daughter, Carly, up for adoption when they were teenagers.

Tyler adds that it is hard when you make that choice as a teenager, and eight years later, they have a stable, happy life, as well as another daughter, Nova. Baltierra says it's difficult not to think about what could have been if they had decided to keep Carly in their care, even though they know that placing her up for adoption was the right decision at the time.

Farrah Abraham won't be there

Fans can watch the newest episode of "Teen Mom OG" on Monday night on MTV. This will mark the first time that the cast has been seen on camera taking a vacation together. However, Farrah Abraham will not be in attendance on the vacation as she's basically cut her co-stars out of her life after engaging in a war of words with each of them at some point over the past few years.
