Kaitlyn Bristowe was reportedly offered a role on the 24th season of "Dancing With The Stars," so why hasn't she been named as one of the dancing competition's upcoming contestants? According to a new tweet, the former "Bachelorette" was unable to move forward with her contract due to the rules of her former ABC producer, Mike Fliess.
On Monday, former "Bachelor" contestant Whitney Bischoff, who was given the final rose during Chris Soules' season of the show, reacted to news of current "Bachelor" Nick Viall's upcoming appearance on the show and quickly shared her thoughts.
"Why does a 'Bachelorette' never get this gig?!? I wanted to see [Kaitlyn] shake her tail feather!" she wrote.
In response, Kaitlyn Bristowe, who is currently engaged to Shawn Booth, dropped a bomb. "Actually I was offered it, had the contract [and] Mike Fliess told me I wasn't allowed," she wrote back to Bischoff. "He said he didnt want people wanting fame after his show." Needless to say, fans were immediately shocked at the double standard.
In addition to fans expressing their shock at Bristowe's tweet, many pointed out that members of the cast often move on to other reality shows, including "Bachelor in Paradise" and "Bachelor Pad." Many cast members have also starred in wedding specials, including Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum, and Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney.
Bristowe also hinted that something was about to be revealed earlier today, tweeting messages to her fans about a possible Twitter rant.
When will Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth get married?
While Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth previously claimed they would be getting married sometime in 2016, they no longer appear to be in any sort of rush to walk down the aisle and have said that their schedules are far too busy at the moment.
As for their potential plans to welcome a baby before they get married, the couple hasn't confirmed any such thing. That said, there have been rumors claiming Kaitlyn Bristowe is pregnant, which she denied months ago.
