"General Hospital" spoilers tease that Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) will team up in an "unlikely alliance" with someone to expose Nelle's (Chloe Lanier) secret. According to an ABC Soaps in Depth recent issue, that person may be none other than Sonny (Maurice Benard).
Sonny has a good reason to want to expose Nelle
In the last few weeks, Nelle has been at least two steps ahead of Sonny as he tried to gain leverage against her scheme.
Her secret has the potential to devastate the Corthinos family -- particularly Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael (Chad Duell).
"General Hospital" spoilers indicate that Sonny has started to question Nelle's story about the night they supposedly slept together. He begins to wonder if she may have cooked up that story with the plan to keep him from reconciling with Carly. The more Sonny thinks about it, the more angry and intent on exposing her he becomes. "GH" spoilers reveal that Sonny seems to be catching on to her lies, but doesn't want to tell Carly until he has proof.
Nelle's anger is coming out
A few episodes ago, "General Hospital" showed Nelle trying very hard to conceal her rage. Sonny picked up on it and later lectured her about allowing bitterness to ruin her life. He told her he was trying to help her, but it was clear that his comments got to her in a profound way.
A few weeks ago, Bobbie had a heated argument with Nelle. The young girl brought up Bobbie's past, including bringing up the fact that she worked as a hooker when she was younger. Afterward, Bobbie felt uneasy about Nelle and begin to wonder what secret she could be hiding from her family.
Bobbie goes to Sonny about Nelle?
It looks like Bobbie may go to Sonny and tell him her suspicions about Nelle.
Of course, "General Hospital" fans know that Sonny is beginning to see past Nelle's sweet smile and see her for the scheming liar she is. What Sonny and Bobbie don't realize is, they are very close to figuring out her secret. When they discover it, they will have to figure out how to tell Carly and Michael the awful truth about Nelle.
