Naughty Dog has recently revealed a new gameplay video that showcased a new large area of “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” and some of its gameplay.
Players to explore the great Western Ghats
In this upcoming video game, which is canon to the story of the “Uncharted” series, players will be thrown to the great jungles of India. This new open world type of area is called the Western Ghats, which is actually a real place in the country of India. It will have similarities to the same open world area in Madagascar, which was featured in the fourth iteration of the game series.
What to do in the game
Players will have some similar experiences from “Uncharted 4” with this upcoming game in terms of features to try out. They will be able to drive a jeep that comes with a winch, which can be used to tie up the vehicle to certain areas that could not be reached by normal means. This means they will have an amazing off-road experience again just like in the previous title.
The gameplay video also revealed some rope swinging through the jungles of the Western Ghats. This also means players will have to do more climbing again, which was also featured in the previous game. This new, vast area also has some of the best views to look on and have a screenshot of, even though it is just a game.
There will be some unique puzzles to solve in “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” and it will be related to the treasure that iconic star Chloe Frazier and veteran mercenary Nadine Ross are looking for in India. It will not be the same puzzles that players have solved in the past, but it will not be that super difficult to solve either.
More on traditional map navigation
The game will also have a map that allows players to see where they are right now in the Western Ghats. Chloe will hold out the map and it will have markings that she had written on for her next destination with Nadine. It will not be some high tech gadget, but a regular paper map with modern markings of today.
Weapons aplenty
Just like the whole franchise, this game title will have tons of guns to use, which is especially helpful for the girls in fighting against their enemies trying to capture them. They will have rifles, grenades, and handguns, by just looking at the gameplay video, but there might be other weapons as well like rocket launchers and the like.
Stealth and fighting gameplay
The gameplay video of "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" also featured the stealth gameplay that the protagonist could do against the enemy forces. Chloe could break necks easily and enter enemy territory without a sound and behind enemy sights. She can also open up locked stashes to loot some ammunition and better guns to use against them.
