At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Sony’s highly anticipated title “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” made its debut. As expected by fans and gamers alike, the tech giant unveiled a playable demo of the game. Obviously, not everyone who is excited about the title got the chance to see the footage.

Fortunately for them, the developers of “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” are set to launch a live stream today at 1 PM PT on the official Twitch channel of Naughty Dog. The developers will show off the gameplay trailer straight from the PlayStation booth.

In addition, creative director Shaun Escayg and Game Director Kurt Margenau will be there to answer questions from the fans.

The gameplay demo

It holds true that the studio is totally done with Nathan Drake’s compelling story, but as far as the series is concerned, they have lots of work to do. This is exactly what they plan to offer with the new iteration. It will be a standalone game featuring both Chloe and Nadine, the pair who will go down in history as one of the most badass female characters in a video game.

The aforementioned “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” trailer finds the two characters all way to a war situation in India. From here, they encounter a good number of bad guys and, well, treasures.

So far, the footage showcases all the elements present in an “Uncharted” title. Unfortunately, though, Naughty Dog revealed that this will be the last installment in the critically acclaimed franchise.

A new DLC update for Uncharted 4

Interestingly, the live streaming will not only focus on the new title. That is because the video game company will also reveal details about the forthcoming DLC update of “Uncharted 4.” This content is developed specifically for the game’s multiplayer and Survival feature.

The studio already announced that it will be launched on the same day the new title arrives. Although it remains a speculation, both Escayg and Margenau will unearth some of the mysteries involving the game. This is definitely something that fans should look forward to today.

The “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” release date points on August 22.

It will arrive only on PlayStation 4 due to an exclusivity deal with Sony. The expansion is currently priced at $39.99, but already comes with a digital version of “Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.” The latter, though, is deemed as a bonus to those who pre-order the game. It will be sold on PlayStation Store and select game retailers.
