The next expansion for “Elder Scrolls Online” revealed during E3 2017 dubbed as Horns of the Reach is now confirmed to arrive in August. Alongside the DLC’s release is Update 15. Today, more information has been shared by Bethesda on the upcoming downloadable content.
Upcoming DLC
“Elder Scrolls Online” next expansion Horns of the Reach will be available via in-game Crown Store. It will be given to members of the ESO Plus for free. For non-members, they can buy it at the in-game store mentioned above. The upcoming downloadable content will have a couple of new dungeons namely Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Hold.
The Bloodroot Forge was once used to forge powerful weapons but has been long-forgotten. On the other hand, the Falkreath Hold is a town ruled by the Bloody-Horned warlord Domihaus.
These two new dungeons will feature new nemesis and bosses for players to overthrow. Aside from those, players will also get a new set of rewards including unique items, sets of monster, and achievements. Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Hold dungeons will be available in both normal and veteran modes.
Update 15
Along with the release of the next game, expansion is the arrival of update 15. The update will bring improvements to the base game. It will be free to all players and will bring in numerous fresh features. Among them includes a new Battlegrounds map, Arcan University.
It will also integrate into the game a new Battlegrounds PvP mode called Chaosball.
Chaosball intends to be held by a player for as long as it is possible. With the ball in player’s possession, it brings healing as well as armor debuffs to the player and its teammates. Aside from this, there are other improvements that will be added to the game upon the arrival of update 515.
This includes Combat cues that can be customized and fresh homes and furnishings. Moreover, players will be given the ability to deposit Alliance Points and Writ Vouchers to its bank. The upcoming update will also allow players to cancel a research project.
Meanwhile, the PvP mode, Battlegrounds was previously introduced in June in the Morrowind DLC.
The expansion introduced the Island of Vvardenfell and a new storyline. It also introduced the Warden Class to the game. The Chaosball game and the upcoming Arcane University map will only be available to players who have the DLC.
The Horns of the Reach DLC for “Elder Scrolls Online” will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions. Expect the expansion to be released anytime in August 2017.
