Microsoft kicked off its press conference that was lengthy and that featured an average amount of games, although they also announced a brand new console that everyone was waiting to see. The press conference was in the middle ground, not too bad and not too good. There were a lot of games that were not seen at the conference like a new "Halo" game or "Tomb Raider." The future of Microsoft looks uneasy because of Sony's impressive conference and a big amount of exclusive games. Sony's PlayStation 4 has been blowing away any competition.

1. The Xbox One X

This was the biggest announcement that was made at the press conference, bearing a lot of hype. The powerful console is on the way and is arriving on November 7th. It is said to be the most powerful console that will be released, bearing more power than both Nintendo systems and PlayStation systems.

The new system will also be backward compatible being able to play original Xbox games. Microsoft has prided itself on adding more games to the library.

The console will also be pricey at $499.99, higher than many other systems out now or in the present time. We will have to wait and see how it will affect sales. It can be argued that it will be a tough sell, even though it is more powerful than the Ps4 Pro.

A customer can buy a PS4 Pro for only $399.99 and can buy other variations of a PS4 for between $250-$350 dollars.

The console seems impressive with the specs and being able to play true 4K at 8 million pixels. The company is being cautious with a liquid cooling system to prevent overheating.

2. Forza Motorsport 7

One of the edges that Microsoft has had over Sony is in its car racing games, specifically Forza Motorsport.

This game looks to show off the power of the new Xbox One X and the game looks beautiful with its varied environments and diverse settings.

The game looks equally realistic and it is one of the games that Microsoft is well known for. It will run at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. The sounds of the engine roaring and parts bouncing off are impressive.

Forza Motorsport 7 will also feature plenty of cars, about 700 to be exact and it will show the power of the Xbox One X. The game is set to release on October 3rd.

3. Anthem

This game looked gorgeous on the Xbox One X. The world looks like anything ever seen before. There are a lot of monsters or beasts to fight in the game and impressive weapons to use. It looks similar to the popular game "Destiny," but more advanced and fun with jetpacks and nice weapons. The game is set to release in the fall of 2018. More details will follow in the future, but the game does look great.

It will also be coming out for PlayStation 4 and PC. Maybe Microsoft can get more people to play it on the Xbox One X. One thing for sure is that it looks like a fun game to explore and play with friends.
