There is an interesting fascination for celebrities, whether they be actors or actresses, singers, musicians, or artists. Indeed, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and once we fall in love with someone, we just can't seem to stop. While it may be a far stretch, a handful of people are, in fact, lucky enough to get close to their favorite stars. But only a select few actually make it to the dating zone and even marriage. 1. Matt Damon

Academy Award-winning actor and screenwriter Matt Damon is a highly prolific entertainer, with films such as "Good Will Hunting," "Saving Private Ryan," the "Bourne" series, "Interstellar," and "The Martian" to his name. The actor, who was hailed as the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine in 2007, dated his fair share of celebrities, but it was Luciana Bozán Barroso who captured his heart. According to PopSugar, Luciana was a bartender in 2002 when he first met her, and the two married in 2005 in New York's City Hall.

Damon now raises three daughters with Luciana, as well as her daughter from a previous marriage.

2. Prince William

Whoever thought that one day Kate Middleton, a simple young girl from Newbury, Berkshire would be the wife of England's future king?

While she was born to an upper-middle-class family, she still not of royal descent. That did not stop her from marrying Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. The pair first met at at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where she admittedly instantly grew shy. They eventually became friends and began dating, before marrying in 2011.

Their marriage has spawned two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The two are expecting a third child in April 2018.

3. Anne Hathaway

Multi award-winning actress Anne Hathaway may seem like an unreachable celebrity given her status as one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Her resume boasts of several award-winning films and roles. Off-duty, she's an advocate for gender equality as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. But it was when she met actor turned businessman Adam Shulman that she decided that she would one day marry him.

According to PopSugar, the pair met through some common friends. They now share a son together.

4. Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey's love story was definitely a "meet cute." The "Grey's Anatomy" star first met his future wife at a salon appointment. The hairstylist? None other than Jillian Fink, who was over the moon when she found out that her client was Dempsey, Bustle reported. Fast forward to 1999, the pair married, and later on shared three children. While Fink attempted to divorce Dempsey in 2015, they reconciled and officially called off their divorce in November 2016.

5. Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba is one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood. With a career spanning two decades, the actress is best known for her roles in TV series "Flipper" and "Dark Angel," and in the "Fantastic Four" film series, "Into the Blue," and more. She's also the founder of the consumer goods company, The Honest Company. But it was during filming "Fantastic Four" where she met her future husband, Cash Warren, who was working as a production assistant at the time, Bustle reported. The pair now has two children together.
