Nick Viall was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" last week along with his professional partner Peta Murgatroyd. It was the double elimination episode. Nancy Kerrigan and partner Artem Chigvintsev were also eliminated.

After the names of the two couples were announced, Viall didn't seem disgruntled. He was gracious and gave the familiar speech about having the opportunity to be on the show and how much he learned from his partner. He said he had an amazing time with Peta. However, he was in the news this week, allegedly blaming two specific people for his elimination.

Nick's elimination

Nick, who was never near the top of the leaderboard, took no responsibility for his elimination if the reports are true. He did receive his highest score on his last dance when he and Peta danced the Argentine tango. They received two nines and two eights from the judges. Even with a score of 34, it didn't keep them on the show.

The 36-year old competitor's scores over the seven weeks ranged from 24 to 34 with an overall average of 29.3. It is hard to believe that Nick thought he was not due to be eliminated. He blamed people and circumstances for his departure.

Who Nick blamed

Can you believe Nick blamed his own partner for his elimination? Peta Murgatroyd was accused of helping get Nick eliminated.

Nick reportedly said Peta did not put her all into helping him because she was too consumed with her baby who was born on January 4, 2017.

The 30-year-old professional dancer has been helping celebrities do well on the show for ten seasons. She is a two-time champion, and fans were so amazed that one of her wins was with deaf model Nyle DiMarco during Season 22 in 2016.

It took special talent and patience for that to happen. Peta's other win was with Donald Driver during her second season on the show during Season 14 in 2012.

The other person Nick blamed was his friend Chris Soules, "The Bachelor" alum from Season 19. The reason Viall gave for blaming Chris Soules seems to be far-fetched. The 35-year old Iowa farmer was involved in an accident on April 24, and his 66-year-old neighbor was killed.

Soules was driving a truck that ran into the back of the man's vehicle that ended up in a ditch. Soules was charged with leaving the scene, but he was not charged with anything else. So, why is Nick blaming Soules for his elimination?

Nick believes viewers connected him with Soules because both of them were on "The Bachelor." According to him, it cost him some viewers' votes just because both of them had been on the ABC reality show.

Apparently, Viall forgot to mention that at the beginning of the season, William Shatner advised people not to vote for him. If he truly believes Murgatroyd and Soules were responsible for his elimination, he is in the minority. The majority of people believe he couldn't dance well enough to continue. Do you think Viall's reasons for his elimination are valid?
