On Week 7 of "Dancing with the Stars," two couples were eliminated during the show's “A Night at the Movies” theme. Couples danced to a classic movie on Monday, May 1. They did their best because the couple with the highest score would receive immunity from the Double Elimination.

The first to dance were Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess. They received a score of 29. To gain immunity from elimination, the other couples had to get a score higher than 29. That wasn't hard to do. At one point during the competition, two couples tied for the highest score.

Simone Biles and Sasha Farber, as well as Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater, received a score of 37.

The last dance of the night was performed by Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy who received a perfect score of 40 for their Argentine tango. They were the ones who received immunity from elimination. The other six couples had to perform a dance off to increase their scores.

Dance off

The six couples who did not receive immunity were divided into three groups for two couples to dance against the other. Simone Bile and Sasha Farber danced against Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvinstev. Simone and Sasha won their round.

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater danced against David Ross and Lindsay Arnold. Rashad and Emma won.

Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd danced against Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess. Bonner and Sharna won. Kerrigan, Ross, and Viall were in jeopardy after the dance off. They waited for hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews to announce their future with "Dancing With The Stars."

Who were eliminated?

At the end of the night, Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated along with Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvinstev.

This leaves five couples to compete on next week's show. The celebrities remaining include Normani Kordei, Simone Biles, Rashad Jennings, David Ross and Bonner Bolton. Ross and Bolton have the lowest scores of the season. They are expected to be eliminated next. Kordei, Biles, and Jennings are the ones predicted to go to the finals.

Guest judge

Regular judge Julianne Hough is on tour with her brother Derek Hough. Therefore, Mandy Moore replaced her. Moore is the one who choreographs the group dances at the beginning of each show with the professional dancers and the troupe. Moore had good remarks and advice for the dancers as she sat on the panel with Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli.
