Factions of Randy

Randy Orton has been in the wrestling business for almost two decades now. He has had some brutal storylines with wrestlers like Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Christian, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy to name a few. He has been a part of the tag team, "Rated-RKO," with WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Rated RKO had a brutal tag team rivalry with Degeneration-X's Triple H and Shawn Michael. In his early days in WWE, Orton was a part of faction "Evolution" which had Ric Flair, Triple H, and Batista as other members of the faction.

Randy Orton had a long rivalry with WWE Superstar John Cena in which Randy attacked Cena's father as well. They had a lot of matches against each other and in fact, Randy was the reason behind Cena's shoulder injury which forced Cena to take a break and return to Royal Rumble 2008 continuing the rivalry with Orton. It was during that time only when Randy formed his own faction "Legacy" with Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase. Legacy was a heel faction throughout and its purpose was to protect Randy Orton.

In fact, it was because of Legacy that Orton won the Royal Rumble 2009.

Apart from these factions, Randy was also a part of "The Authority" which originated due to Triple H helping Randy Orton win the WWE Championship from Daniel Bryan at the 2013 SummerSlam pay-per-view.
