There have been plenty of NFL trade rumors surrounding New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and the latest would be a major blockbuster if it goes through. During a segment on Nfl Network, analysts speculated about several different trades that might happen involving the Indianapolis Colts ahead of or during the 2018 NFL Draft. One of those trades would have OBJ heading to the Indianapolis Colts, giving Andrew Luck another star receiver.
Mock trades for Colts
The first of the NFL trade rumors mentioned during the segment had the Buffalo Bills trying to orchestrate a deal with the Colts in which a variety of picks would be exchanged.
In the "mock trade," the Bills would get the Colts' sixth pick in the draft. In exchange, Indianapolis would get the No. 12 pick, No. 22 pick, and No. 56 pick, giving them plenty of options between the first and second rounds of the NFL draft.
However, it was the next "mock trade" that involved New York's Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts. In exchange, the rebuilding Giants would get the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft. That would mean that New York would own two of the top six picks, giving them the ability to really add some talent to their roster as they try to pick up the pieces and build a contending team.

Who might the Giants select with those NFL Draft picks?
The team could look to add the heir apparent to two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning with a new quarterback as there are several talented ones available near the top of the draft order. They include USC's Sam Darnold, UCLA's Josh Rosen, and Wyoming's Josh Allen. In addition, the prospect of also adding the top running back coming out of the college game, Saquon Barkley, is also there for the Giants.
Best moves for Colts & Giants?
An Odell Beckham Jr. trade to the Colts brings up its share of issues too. For one, Indianapolis already has a talented receiver in TY Hilton. For another, Odell is basically just a "rental player," meaning he'd command a high contract if the Colts want to keep him beyond one season.
Many fans familiar with what the Colts' needs are probably would prefer that deal with the Buffalo Bills, which would bring them a lot of potential help on defense.
With that said, keeping the No. 6 pick may also be the smart move as it's being said that offensive lineman Quentin Nelson could be a smart pick to help protect Luck or Jacoby Brissett on the field.
The New York Giants may be in rebuilding mode with Odell Beckham Jr. set to join a new team. One of the players that could end up replacing him is the recently-released Dez Bryant, who was cut by the Dallas Cowboys over the past several days. It's been said by Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz that the Giants aren't interested in Bryant even though they would be his first choice.
