The first trailer for Pokémon's first-ever live-action movie, "Detective Pikachu," just dropped and everyone's excited to see a realistic version of one of the most popular franchises. The movie is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Pokémon Company and is based on the game of the same name, although there are some key differences between the two. "Pokémon GO" has also revealed how to capture newly added creatures.
The plot of 'Detective Pikachu'
First off, the Pikachu appearing in the movie is a cop. The movie follows the story of a young boy named Tim Goodman (Justice Smith), who's looking for his missing father. Tim's father, Harry Goodman, was a prominent detective who mysteriously disappeared in a car crash. Tim Goodman teams up with Pikachu, his dad's former partner, to unravel the tangled mystery.
Hilariously, "Deadpool" star, Ryan Reynolds, is the voice actor for Pikachu and Ikue Ōtani, the original voice of Ash's Pikachu will also be voicing Detective Pikachu as the normal Pikachu voice, heard by humans other than Tim.
All the Pokémon appearing in the movie
The furry Jigglypuff has left fans baffled, because, up till now, everyone imagined it to a balloon-like Pokémon. They did a great job with Pikachu because the electric-mouse Pokémon still looks really cute, but Mr. Mime and Charizard are a hyper-realistic nightmare.
The trailer shows off Pokémon from different generations and almost a two-dozen of CGI Pokémon appear in it, but there are some other Pokémon in the trailer as well which are hidden and can easily be missed. The first scene of the movie features Pidgeotto, Comfey, Flabébé, Dodrio, and Charmander. The signs on the right show Victini, Wooper, Petilil, Swirlix, and Goomy. A Bouffalant and Braviary can also be spotted in the center of the crowd.
The scene with Lucy Stevens (Kathryn Newton) shows that she'll be accompanied by a Psyduck, a Spoink figure can also be spotted in her car. There's also Gengar and Jigglypuff balloons in the background.
Legendary Pokémon like Rayquaza, Reshiram, and Zekrom are also seen on posters in Tim's room.

The scene with street vendors shows Emolga on the left and Joltik on the right. There's also signs with Unown, in the background. A few seconds later, a Venusaur and an Audino can be spotted in the middle of the crowd. One shot of the trailer shows missing posters with Squirtle and Pancham.
A bunch of Bulbasaurs and Morelull also appear in the shot where it seems like Detective Pikachu is injured.

Charizard in its classic card pose also appears in a battle arena. Later in the scene, a Rufflet, Squirtle, and Pancham can also be spotted alongside Tim and Detective Pikachu. A trio of Greninjas also appears in a forest setting.
A horrifying Mr. Mime also appears during the investigation scene of the movie.
That's it for now, but there might be more Pokémon in the movie because the antagonist character Pokémon has not been revealed yet. "Detective Pikachu" is set to be released in Summer 2019.
