Bristol Palin is going to fit right in with the cast of "Teen Mom OG." Not only did the daughter of politician Sarah Palin give birth to her first child as a teenager, she's also been faced with tons of relationship drama. As fans may know, Palin split from her oldest child's father years ago and went on to marry Dakota Meyer, with whom she shares two children, before splitting from Meyer just a short time ago.
As she and her new co-stars, including Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, and Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon, prepare for the season premiere of "Teen Mom OG" season eight, Palin took to her Instagram page to share her relationship status and confirm that she and Meyer recently got divorced after just a couple of years of marriage.
On August 1, OK! Magazine revealed that Palin was asked by a fan if she was currently dating. In response, Palin told her curious social media follower that she was "freshly divorced and single forever" before adding that she is not yet ready to begin dating. Palin's message to the fan was made in the comments section of a selfie of the new reality star posing in the mirror with her Louis Vuitton-wrapped cell phone.
Bristol replaces the fired Farrah Abraham
News of Bristol Palin's addition to the cast of "Teen Mom OG" came months after producer Morgan J. Freeman was seen giving Farrah Abraham an ultimatum regarding her career in the world of adult entertainment. As fans will recall, Freeman told Abraham that if she wanted to continue to move forward with her adult endeavors, she would have to do so without MTV's backing.
In response, Abraham told Freeman that she was unwilling to let her career outside of his reality series go.
Although Palin was first targeted with rumors regarding her addition that many believed were untrue, she has since confirmed that she is filming for season eight and will soon make her MTV debut.
Bristol's salary for 'Teen Mom OG' is massive
Although MTV has not yet confirmed how much Bristol Palin is getting, nor are they expected to do so, it was recently reported the she will be given a whopping $250,000 for her first season on the hit series. According to a report from The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Palin's reported salary came to the attention of her co-stars, as they had to spend years making the series successful before they began making that sort of money.
"Teen Mom OG" will return to MTV this fall.
