Amber Portwood and her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, have been dating for an entire year. After meeting on the set of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition" last summer as Portwood attempted to repair her past relationship with ex-fiance Matt Baier and Glennon worked behind the scenes, Portwood and Glennon began their whirlwind romance and quickly announced that they were expecting their first child together.
While it was widely reported at the time that the "Teen Mom OG" star had begun dating Glennon before her romance with Baier officially ended, she always denied any such thing and her latest anniversary post seems to confirm her previous statements.
"One year from yesterday I met this amazing man and it is truly a dream! Happy 1 year Anniversary baby," she wrote on August 1 on her Instagram page from Glennon's home in Malibu, California.
When did Amber and Andrew confirm their romance publicly?
As fans of the longtime reality star may recall, Portwood and Glennon wasted no time going public with their romance and on August 27, 2017, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. Before that, Portwood and Glennon made their relationship social media official with a romantic post on Portwood's Instagram page on August 17.
Although Amber Portwood was fresh off of a breakup from Matt Baier after years of dating, she wasted no time getting serious with the Malibu-based cinematographer and in September of last year, just weeks after going public, she learned she was expecting her second child, the first for Glennon, during a getaway in Hawaii that was filmed for the seventh season of "Teen Mom OG."
Amber and Andrew welcomed a son in May
After confirming their baby news in late 2017, Portwood and Glennon became mom and dad to a healthy baby boy named James and since his arrival, they've both been sharing plenty of photos of him on their social media pages.
As fans of "Teen Mom OG" well know, Portwood is also mom to nine-year-old Leah Shirley, who she shares with her former partner Gary Shirley.
Amber Portwood, Andrew Glennon, and their co-stars (including Bristol Palin, Maci Bookout, and Catelynn Lowell) are expected to return to MTV this fall for "Teen Mom OG" season eight. When the show returns, fans of the long-running series will meet baby James for the very first time and see plenty more of Portwood and Glennon's romance.
