"General Hospital" spoilers reveal that Emmy-nominated Elizabeth Hendrickson is on the "GH" set and started filming a new role this week. The actress' casting on the ABC soap was confirmed by Soap Opera Digest and it ties back to a long-simmering spoiler about Drew Cain (Billy Miller). This is exciting because soap fans might recall the amazing energy between Hendrickson and Miller from their days playing opposite each other on "The Young and the Restless."

Hendrickson and Miller paired again

Back on "Y&R" spoilers remind that the pair played anguished parents Billy Abbott (Miller) and Chloe Mitchell (Hendrickson) who shared daughter Delia Abbott.

Delia died tragically after being struck by a car driven by Adam Newman (formerly Justin Hartley). The pair had electric chemistry whenever Billy and Elizabeth were scene partners and so her casting on the ABC soap is doubly exciting for soap fans.

The long-held spoiler is that amnesiac Drew has a wife he cannot recall. May sweeps spoilers from the soap magazines reveal that Drew gets his memories back thanks to Henrik Faison (Wes Ramsey) finally handing over the flash drive. Drew is single as he's in the midst of a divorce from Sam Cain (Kelly Monaco) and about to get his mind and memories back. That's when he's rumored to recall that he has a wife!

Hendrickson perfectly cast as Drew's wife

"General Hospital" spoilers have confirmed that Hendrickson is indeed cast and is already shooting scenes now that will air next month.

The character she's been cast as is still in the rumor phase, but all signs point to it being Drew's mystery wife. This could be a ratings move to draw some CBS soap viewers who loved Elizabeth Hendrickson and hated to see her cut from the cast of "Y&R."

Elizabeth and Billy have a built-in fan base from their "Young and the Restless" days and pairing them as Drew and his missus on "GH" could be the ratings boost that "General Hospital" needs.

There has been some talk that Elizabeth Webber's (Rebecca Herbst) sister Sarah Webber is coming back to Port Charles and that could be Hendrickson's role. But given the current storylines, that makes no sense.

Drew needs to know his past

Its been almost four years, but we're on the cusp of discovering the whole truth about him. Remember, Drew and Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) were never hitched -- and weren't even in that serious of a relationship when he was deployed as a Navy SEAL.

Drew left Kim in California years before he was kidnapped by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). There's more than a decade of Drew's life that is wide open and needs to be explained. Him having a wife would fit neatly into that space. With the confirmation of Elizabeth Hendrickson's casting on "GH" and the rich history between Hendrickson and Miller as soap scene partners, this seems like a match made in casting heaven!
