The latest updates and spoilers for 'Avengers 4' reveal the potential appearance of the Skrull alien race in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Skrulls have been rumored to be included in the MCU since the announcement of the live-action "Captain Marvel" movie at last year's San Diego Comic-Con and they will likely make a return in the fourth film.

"Iron Man" movie star Gwyneth Paltrow revealed a potential game-changer in the relationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in the movie. Twitter username ashley, posted a snippet of an article from Titan Magazine revealing that Tony and Pepper will have a child in the movie.

The Skrulls are coming?

According to MCU Cosmic, Captain Marvel returns to earth after former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury sends a signal to her during the end-credits scene from "Avengers: Infinity War." Carol deduced that the Skrulls have returned to earth not knowing that Thanos has invaded the planet for the Infinity Stones.

The rumors also suggest that Hawkeye has been hunting the Skrulls in Tokyo, Japan disguising themselves as Yakuza members. Clint Barton in the movie will drop the "Hawkeye" alias and goes by the name Ronin.

The Skrulls will be the main antagonists in the "Captain Marvel" movie as Marvel Studios revealed concept artwork at the SDCC 2017 event.

In the Marvel comics, the Skrulls are an alien race of reptilian shapeshifters who invade planets. They are the rival faction of the Kree empire and they have waged war on them for centuries.

The "Captain Marvel" film will likely introduce them to the audiences since Carol is caught between their war and the Kree needed a powerful soldier to tip the scales of the conflict in their favor.

Tony and Pepper have a child?

According to Screenrant, Gwyneth Paltrow stated in the Titan article piece that Pepper will give birth to a child with Tony in the MCU.

This presents a new chapter in the already complicated life of Tony and his relationship with his father, Howard.

While this is unknown if Tony and Pepper's child will appear in "Avengers 4,' there are also hints that Wanda Maximoff and Vision will have twin children in the movie.

For now, the fourth film is now being developed and the directors Anthony and Joe Russo teased its possible official title. The sequel will take place after "Infinity War" as the remaining heroes must stop Thanos and save the universe after he completed his gauntlet and annihilated haft of its population.
