Yesterday was Easter and also April Fool's Day. Several fans think that Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiance Lauren Burnham of "The Bachelor" took it too far with their joke. Radar Online shared the details. Arie actually wrote "Secrets finally out, we have a bunny in the oven! @laurenburnham91." There were rumors spreading that Lauren was pregnant when Arie decided to break up with Becca and go back to her, but of course, they weren't true. If this was the case, she would be showing by now. Instead, it was all just an April Fool's Joke that has upset a lot of people.

Arie's joke backfired

When Arie Luyendyk Jr. posted this, he put a picture of Lauren that made it look like she was pregnant. A bit later, he posted that it was an April Fool's Day joke, but that wasn't enough to keep his fans happy. Fans are very upset about the prank. One fan said, "come on. be better than that. it's not a joke for many struggling families to get pregnant, it's extremely expensive and it's heartbreaking. I wish nothing but the best for Arie and Lauren but this is not funny, it's cruel." One fan added, "1 in 8 women struggle infertility. I really and truly hope that if this is a joke, when you do try to conceive you aren’t met with the harsh reality that so many face." There are a ton of comments about it on the post along with a few defenses for the couple.

Most people don't seem okay with this kind of joke. There was one fan that defended them saying, "Many of you may carry hate inside for Arie & Lauren but C'mon his tweet was NO way trying to be disrespectful towards a women/couple having or had trouble to have a baby! I am one of them & I didn't take their #AprilFools joke in a cruel way at all.Happy Easter Arie & Lauren!"

For one, people tend to forget that a lot of people can't get pregnant and jokes like this really upset them.

A few years ago Sean and Catherine Lowe did a similar joke and Bachelor fans were upset about it as well. This is a joke that people don't take well. Arie probably wasn't even thinking about the possible backlash when he posted the photo, but he is certainly seeing it now.

How are Arie and Lauren?

Lauren Burnham isn't actually pregnant, but they are doing great.

She made the move to Arizona to live with him and they are already talking about a wedding. They are planning for it to happen sooner rather than later. It looks like they are going to make it, but a baby isn't on the way just yet for these two. There have even been rumors that their wedding will be as early as this summer, but they haven't shared an actual date with their fans yet. There is even a wedding registry out there, but there is no proof that the couple put it up on their own.
