It has been a whole year since the dawn of what was the absolute pinnacle of pranks played by Adult Swim on April Fool’s Day. April 1, 2017 is and will be remembered worldwide as the day everybody’s favorite nihilistic and drunkard genius of a protagonist, Rick flipping Sanchez broke out of federal prison, lifting off a brand new season and a huge tension on things to come in the third installment of Adult Swim’s spankingly famous animated television show, "Rick and Morty."

What followed this April Fool’s prank to be the best season of "Rick and Morty" so far.

Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland, and team along with Adult Swim have always made it a point to deliver their work on art in a way that it reaches the masses in the most effortless of ways possible, with the least bit of advertisement, staying truer than anybody else to the definition of what going viral actually is.

It isn’t a thing of mystery that "Rick and Morty" has proven to be one of the biggest and most successful franchises of recent times, and that anything even remotely associated with this brand garners a lot of attention and reverence from the media and masses all over the planet, rocketing up to fame in absolutely no time at all.

Season Four and the likes

The much-awaited fourth installment of the show does seem like it is in the works on and off, consider the fact that Cartoon Network, who owns Adult Swim, hasn’t ordered for a new season yet.

It can be safely said that the shows co-creators are going to be taking their own sweet time as far as the release and updates are concerned, and it is also safe to say that the wait will be worth it all.

As the fandom has been eagerly waiting for any shred of news about the show's upcoming season, their usual disappointment due to absolute radio silence was quenched just yesterday.

Team Adult Swim and "Rick and Morty" did it yet again on the same day this year, with a different twist.

Let’s go to Bendigo

Finely put together by Michael Cusack, this year April Fool’s day was graced by a "Rick and Morty" short from a whole new dimension.

The source and basic plot of the characters were twisted and turned into this jaw-droppingly intense and immensely hilarious (with ample dirty jokes) short titled “Bushworld Adventures”.

The short features the show’s protagonists Reek and Mordi, and their family, with the plot entirely localized within Australia. Reek persuades Mordi to embark on a journey to a place called Bendigo, and the short is about all the shenanigans they go through to reach the said place.

Bendigo so happens to have gathered a lot of attention ever since the release of this short. The place has been put on alert for a biological hazard, and citizens have been advised to stay indoors with their doors and windows closed.

People seem to be seen in Hazmats as this peaceful place is in peril. Any further news on the betterment of the situation in Bendigo is yet to be expected. As for the short, we’ll leave a link for you to check it out.
