Mackenzie McKee is reportedly taking over Farrah Abraham's role on "Teen Mom OG," but not everyone is happy about her addition to the show. According to a new report, Abraham's mother, Debra Danielsen, doesn't seem to understand why MTV chose the former "Teen Mom 3" star and mother of three for the part. During a new interview, which took place after Danielsen attended the Season 7 reunion, the former reality star revealed her true thoughts about McKee rejoining the "Teen Mom" franchise.

“I don’t know how relatable a female body builder is,” Debra Danielsen explained to Radar Online on March 5.

“It’s a bizarre choice knowing our demographic. I feel like it’ a little disjointed.“ Danielsen went on to say that she wished McKee well with her upcoming role and said that her mother's battle with stage four brain cancer made her a "relatable" addition to the show. "If Mackenzie took over there would be a new dimension,” she explained.

Mackenzie Standifer was reportedly in the running for a full-time role on 'Teen Mom OG'

The Ashley's Reality Roundup was first to reveal Mackenzie McKee's possible addition to "Teen Mom OG." As fans may have heard, McKee was up against Mackenzie Standifer, the wife of Ryan Edwards, for the role, and was also allegedly in talks to appear on "Teen Mom 2." As Radar Online explained, Jenelle Evans' future with the series is allegedly in jeopardy following the sudden firing of her husband of the last several months, David Eason.

Weeks ago, while arguing with a woman on Twitter, Eason went on a rant against the LGBT community and their morals and was promptly fired by MTV.

Mackenzie McKee shares three children with husband Josh

While filming "16 & Pregnant" in 2011, McKee was seen welcoming her first child, son Gannon, with then-boyfriend Josh McKee.

The following year, the couple tied the knot and months after that, on February 7, 2014, Douthit gave birth to their second child, daughter Jaxie Taylor. Since then, the McKee family has welcomed a third child, son Broncs Weston, who was born in August of 2016.

McKee appeared on "Teen Mom 3" alongside Alexandria Sekella, Katie Yeager, and Briana DeJesus.

"Teen Mom OG" Season 7 is currently airing on MTV on Mondays at 9 PM and features Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, and Amber Portwood. There has been no word yet from MTV on whether or not Mackenzie McKee has officially joined the cast and begun filming Season 8.
