Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have been dating for over two years and recently, the "Vanderpump Rules" star has spoken about her desire to settle down and start a family with her Movie Producer boyfriend in the coming years. However, when Emmett took to his Instagram page over the weekend and revealed news of the engagement, it wasn't theirs. Instead, two of his close friends, Abby Dixon and Sam Querrey, became engaged on Sunday, March 4.

"Congratulations to the coolest couple I know on your engagement," Emmett wrote in the caption of the couple's engagement photo.

"[Sam Querry and Abby Dixon], I know you will have a life of full of love and happiness. Now, it’s time to win Indian Wells!!!"

Kent and Emmett began dating in early 2016 and were first photographed together while enjoying a meal at celebrity hotspot Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills. That said, the couple didn't confirm their romance until January 1 of this year, days after Emmett's divorce from Ambyr Childers was made final.

Why did Lala hide her romance with Randall for so long?

After confirming she had a man in her life during "Vanderpump Rules" Season 5, Kent was flooded with rumors and gossip which suggested she was dating a married man. However, rather than confirm that her man was technically married, but separated, she chose to hide the relationship completely.

Then, after confirming their romance on her Instagram page on January 1 with a New Year's kiss, Kent explained that she didn't steal Emmett from his former wife. Instead, she claimed Childers actually began dating before her relationship with Emmett began.

Randall Emmett is a hot topic on 'Vanderpump Rules'

While Randall Emmett has not yet been seen on the Bravo TV reality show, nor does he have any interest in doing so, his relationship with Kent has been brought up a number of different times.

Most recently, Kennedy took aim at the romance, suggesting that Kent only complains about Emmett when they discuss him. He also suggested that he didn't respect the relationship because of things he's been told. Since Kennedy began to question her relationship, Kent has confirmed that she and the DJ are no longer friends with a Twitter post to her fans and followers, explaining that his behavior can no longer be tolerated.

To see more of Lala Kent and her co-stars, including James Kennedy, don't miss new episodes of "Vanderpump Rules" Season 6 tonight and every Monday night at 9 PM on Bravo TV.
