"Days Of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that Abigail Deveraux-DiMera (Marci Miller) will begin to worry about what may be going on with her health. As many "DOOL" fans have watched over the course of the past few weeks, Abby is really struggling, but she doesn't know why. She is beginning to realize that something is just not right, and that she may be suffering from memory loss, which is a huge cause for concern when it comes to her physical health, as well as her mental health.

Abby's concerns lead to her seeking medical help

According to the latest "Days of our Lives" spoilers and news, Abigail will get so worried about what may be troubling her that she will decide she may need to get the opinion of a doctor.

Abby will go to her trusted family friend, Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Abigail will tell Kayla what she's been feeling and experiencing, and it seems that Kayla could be instrumental in helping diagnose Abby's disorder and in aiding her in getting the help she really needs. As many viewers already know, Abigail has been struggling with a split personality disorder. Although Abby has no idea this is happening to her, she has been taking on the personalities of two alter-egos. The first one is reckless and wild, and modeled after Abigail's friend, Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus). The second personality is more refined, and refers to herself as Dr. Laura.

During a recent episode of "Days of our Lives," Dr.

Laura revealed that she was the "gatekeeper," meaning that she was the alter-ego that understood Abigail's issues and realized there was a split personality disorder happening. She also knows all of the personalities intimately, and this means that she could be the key to getting Abby help. Meanwhile, Kayla knows all too well about personality disorders, her sister, Kimberly Brady, previously struggled with the same issues, which is why it may be important for Kayla to see Abigail's bizarre behavior in order to make a diagnosis.

However, that may be hard to do if Dr. Laura comes out and begins to impersonate Abigail.

Can Kayla crack the case?

Dr. Laura will be able to tell Kayla exactly what she wants to hear in hopes of throwing her off the scent. Kayla's suspicions may be waived off if Dr. Laura has anything to do with it, not to mention that "DOOL" fans know that Kayla has her hands full with her husband Steve Johnson's medical crisis. This means that Kayla may not be on her game when it comes to seeing all the warning signs that Abby is exhibiting.

"Days of our Lives" airs weekday afternoons on NBC.
