Fans of "The Young and the Restless" have been on pins and needles since Adam Newman supposedly died in an explosion in October 2016. Since that time, spoiler alerts have been hinting that the character would return to Genoa City. There have been rumors that both Justin Hartley and Michael Muhney would return to the show and also that Victor's youngest son might be portrayed by a totally different actor. Spoilers have suggested that it would be Adam who kidnapped his own son and now Celeb Dirty Laundry has dropped another possible bombshell.
They are reporting that, when Christian is found, a DNA test will determine that Nick is not the father but his brother is,
Christian goes missing
Soaps She Knows reported that Christian Newman will go missing while he is with stepmom Chelsea. There will be a frantic search for the child and according to the spoilers, he will be in the hands of his biological father Adam. Now Celeb Dirty Laundry is suggesting a different scenario, one which calls for the missing child to be found and a DNA test ordered. There has been no indication of why testing would be necessary, but the results will finally prove that Nick, not Adam, is the little boy's dad.
Both spoilers agree that Christian will go missing but there is a discrepancy regarding what happens when he is found.
"The Young and the Restless" viewers have been waiting for the truth to come out and many hope that Adam Newman will come back to Genoa City. If he does, and Sage's son is proven to be his, this will shatter what is left of Nick Newman's world. He is dealing with the fallout over his father. Finding out that Christina is not his, and that both Victor and Chelsea knew, will be too much for this volatile young man.
Adam Newman will change all in Genoa City
Should Adam indeed return from the dead there will naturally be questions regarding his whereabouts for the past 13 months. His resurrection will also change a lot of lives in Genoa City. This will put a wider wedge between Nick and his father and also destroy the relationship he has built with Chelsea.
If Victor welcomes his youngest son back into the family business there will be trouble with Victoria who believes she is the heir apparent.
The worst of it will be that Nick will have to give up Christian whom he has loved and nurtured and believed to be his own son. This may be a blow that he possibly will never recover from.
