January is starting off with a bang on "The Young and the Restless" as quite a bit of drama unfolds for the residents of genoa city. As usual, it will center around members of the Newman family and their associates. Nick will set things in motion by confronting his younger sibling regarding something he witnessed. He will then share a secret with his ex-wife who will not initially believe him but later changes her mind. Spoiler alerts from Soaps She Knows indicate that Sharon will get physical with Abby who will boldly stand her ground. When Scott is confronted, he will apologize for his behavior, but it may be too late to save his relationship.
Scott and Abby's dark secret comes to light
On New Year's Eve, after Victor and Nikki renewed their wedding vows Nick went to get his coat and happened to see his baby sister kissing his ex-wife's current beau. Nick has always been wary of Scott Granger, and now his suspicions seem to be proving him right. Spoilers say this week he will confront Abby about what he saw and later tell Sharon that her man is seeing another woman. The former Mrs. Newman will initially dismiss what her ex-spouse is saying but at some point will begin to believe it because she later confronts her ex-sister in law.
Spoilers say that Sharon is going to slap Abby, but the feisty daughter of Victor and Ashley will stand her ground.
Sharon had her suspicions that Abby may have been developing feelings for Scott and finding out about the kiss will certainly upset her. What she does not know but may be about to find out is that "Scabby" slept together the night they were locked in the storage unit by Zack and they have had more than one liplock. It's possible that their dark secret may be about to come to light and really cause drama in Genoa City.
Scott apologizes but will there be full disclosure
Celeb Dirty Laundry says that Scott is going to apologize but do not give details. It could be that Sharon tells him what Nick saw and Mr. Granger will express remorse for the one kiss. He could, however, decide to come clean and give his lady love full disclosure of all the sordid details.
Sharon may become so outraged that she tosses him out and this may open the door for Abby and Scott to explore their feelings fully. It also may send Nick and his ex-wife back into each other's arms.
Spoilers also indicate that the truth of Christian's paternity is about to be revealed so both Nick and Sharon may feel betrayed by the people they trusted most and turn to each other once again.
