Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is the new housewife on the block and ahead of the December 19 "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 8 premiere, fans are learning a bit about her. According to a new report, Mellencamp Arroyave seems to be a perfect fit for the glamorous Bravo TV series as she's already close with a number of her co-stars on the show, including the series' longest-running cast members, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.

On December 19, Us Weekly magazine revealed that the new cast member of is a 36-year-old mother who shares two young children with her husband, Edwin Arrroyave, including her five-year-old daughter Slate and her three-year-old son Cruz.

As the report explained, the couple lives together in Los Angeles and is also raising Edwin's oldest child from his previous marriage, daughter Isabella.

What does the Arroyave family do for a living?

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's husband, Edwin, is the founder of Skyline Security Management, which was established in 2004 and offers a number of security options, including interactive security and home automation. As for Teddi herself, she owns and operates a fitness and lifestyle website. She's also created the program LA Workout Junkie, which offers fitness tips and helps users discover the best versions of themselves. And, as if all that weren't enough, she's also an accountability coach.

Speaking of her struggles with her own weight issues, the new reality star said that she felt lonely, sad, and angry when she was at her heaviest and at her smallest, she felt stressed about her potential weight gain.

As she explained, she never truly felt comfortable in her own skin until she launched her own company and began to embark on a healthier, empowering lifestyle.

Teddi's father is a famous musician

As many have assumed from her last name, the new addition to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is the daughter of country singer John Mellencamp and Victoria Granucci, who was married to the musician from 1981 until 1989.

Mellencamp Arroyave was raised in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and spent much of her childhood as a competitive equestrian.
